Is “Angels Amid Us” a Funeral Home?
No. Angels Amid Us is an independent consulting service. It was founded to give those who had lost a loved one additional support that may be needed outside of the Funeral Home or Cremation Service. I am willing to go to the Funeral Home with you to make arrangements, however, if you would feel more comfortable having someone else with you.
How much experience do you have in the Death Care industry?
I have worked at various Funeral Homes and Cemeteries in California for approximately 5 years combined. My latest position was as a licensed Funeral Director.
Are you still a Licensed Funeral Director?
I obtained my Funeral Director’s License in 2014 and have kept it current, but California state law does not allow you to call yourself a Funeral Director unless you are working for a Licensed Funeral Home. So, yes and no.
Do you have a physical office location?
Not at this time, but I am willing to meet you at your home, place of business or other convenient location during business hours.
Do you speak Spanish, or any other languages?
Unfortunately, no.
Can I request that you bring your grief support dog with you to our appointment?
Yes, but because of my ongoing training work with him each request needs to be considered on a case-by-case basis.
