Ashes/Cremated Remains
Many people I know have ashes sitting in their closets or storage sheds. I specialize in helping you secure the proper permits in order for the ashes of your family member, friend or loved one to be placed in a cemetery or scattered according to their wishes. I strongly believe that everyone deserves the dignity of a final resting place, and many people find it comforting to have a place to grieve and visit their loved one. There are other options for memorialization that I can assist with as well, such as cremation jewelry, for example.
Arrangements
I can help you make arrangements with a Funeral Home or Cremation Provider, acting as your advocate when having to make choices for things such as flowers, caskets or urns, if you would feel more comfortable having someone else with you.
Burial
I can help you locate a Funeral Home that can bring the body of your loved one into their care and prepare them for burial.
I am passionate about, and believe in green burial options, whether that is simply choosing a biodegradable casket (or urn), or, being buried without a full concrete liner in the grave. Even what seems like a small gesture can make a difference, and I recommend considering all earth-friendly options when mulling over the many decisions being put before you.

Caskets
I can assist you with finding/ordering a casket, if you wish. Please note that if you utilize the services of a Funeral Home, they often require that you purchase one through them in order to benefit from their package pricing.
Celebration of Life
I can assist with planning a Celebration of Life and/or Reception, and locating the appropriate venues for each.
Cemetery
I can assist you with locating a cemetery for the interment or inurnment of the remains of your loved one.
Cremation
While I am not a Cremation Provider, I can assist you with locating one. They would then bring the body of your loved one into their care and facilitate the cremation.
Grief Assistance
While I am not a Certified Grief Counselor, I can help you locate one. I can also give you guidance after the burial or cremation, helping you walk the long road to healing. There are many healing modalities to choose from, and it certainly is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Some people may find comfort in solitude, others may find that they need company and connection. I can pose questions to you that might help narrow down what it is that you need to heal. In the end, only you know the answer to that.
Headstone/Marker
If your loved one has recently been buried, or, has been resting in an unmarked grave and you are ready to take care of memorialization, I can assist you with contacting the cemetery to find out about any size and material restrictions for the marker, and can also assist with finding a provider to have one made.
Obituary
I can assist with writing and placing an obituary in the newspaper(s) of your choice.
Veterans Services
If your loved one was a Veteran, I can assist with locating a Veteran’s Cemetery, coordinating military honors, obtaining a Flag, or assist with obtaining a government-provided military marker.
